NCC/SEMA visitation to the emergency call center in Kaduna

Overview

The key stakeholders from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) in Kaduna visited the Emergency Call Centre in Kaduna state on the Tuesday 7th of November 2017. Those in attendance were representatives from the respective response agencies such as the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Armed Forces, Nigeria Federal Fire Service, National Emergency Management Agency and others.

Four D Associates as the operator of the Centre in partnership with the Nigerian Communications Commission took the stakeholders on a tour of the facility. They were shown round the facilities and the technical infrastructure available for handling emergency calls. These facilities included the center’s power room, server room, dispatcher workstations and the call agents’ office.
