KADUNA EMERGENCY CALL CENTER DISPATCHER TRAINING
Four D Associates Limited, a provider of Information and Communications Technologies products and services, has announced the completion of dispatcher training for Emergency Response Agencies at the Emergency Communications Centre, Kaduna (ECC). The three – day training was conducted in collaboration with Nigerian Communications Commission NCC and Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency SEMA.
At the closing ceremony, certificates were presented to successful dispatchers. Speaking during the event Mr. Bashir Idris, Deputy Director NCC explained that the ECC is a Federal Government initiative under the auspices of Nigerian Communications Commission to provide a central processing point for all “112” emergency calls. Specifically Kaduna Emergency Center handles distress calls in the state and is a vital component of the State emergency services according to Hon Ben Kure.
Four D Associates Limited provides the business process operations and managed services to ensure operational efficiency, sustainability of the program and excellence in service delivery. This enables the emergency response agencies namely the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps, Fire Service, Police Force, Air Force, Army and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to effectively handle different types of emergencies.
The Centre has call management and dispatch applications, routers, switches, state-of-the-art power stabilizers and un-interruptible power supply. Besides custom designed workstations for call Centre agents, integrated with soft phones telephone and connected to Command and Control Centers of the Agencies. All inbound calls are received, recorded and tracked to ensure accountability.
